Christophe Szpajdel to design the SkyQuaker Logo

SkyQuaker has been after a logo for a while… Given Christophe designed the Iceni logo all those years ago, he was always in the back of our minds, but with his work has been heavily grounded in the extreme metal scene, we were unsure if we should put him forward in terms of SkyQuakers fusion-rock image. We couldn’t have been more wrong if we tried! Christophe has delivered some astonishing ideas and SkyQuaker’s frontman Steve Hope-Wynne has since established an incredible working relationship with Christophe who is excited to be exploring the cinematic rich, ever-changing and fusion approach to SkyQuakers vision.

For those who have not come across Christophe’s work before, he first came to attention in the mid-'90s with logos like Emperor, Old Man’s Child, Enthroned, Borknagar, Moonspell, Desaster & many more. Since then he has continued to make a significant contribution to the extreme metal scene having drawn for literally thousands of bands with the vast majority are still being used to this day, in some cases 30 years since their creation.

Please check out Christophe’s website and his social media accounts (links on the website) as we think you will find his body of work fascinating! We look forward to sharing the new SkyQuaker logo with you in the very near future!
